Facts About Reggie Lawson and Hudson Sanchez

Reggie stands for Reginald:

Reggie Lawson’s full name is Reginald Jefferson Lawson.

He was born in Victorville, California:

Lawson was born in Victorville, California on August the 2nd, 1997.

Lawson plays for the San Diego Padres:

Lawson is a starting pitcher for the San Diego Padres. He was first drafted to the San Diego Padres in the second round of the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft. Prior to which Lawson played for his high school Victor Valley High School. Which is located in Adelanto, California.

Currently Lawson is on the San Diego Padres roster as a non roster invitee:

For the time being Lawson is on the San Diego Padres roster as a non roster invitee. However, Lawson enjoys training with the San Diego Padres and hopes to make the squad’s starting lineup in the near future.

Lawson was invited to join the San Diego Padres’ primary squad for their spring training sessions:

Furthermore on the 16th of January, 2020, Reggie Lawson was asked by the coaching staff at the San Diego Padres to join their primary squad’s spring training. A hint, that the club is looking to give Lawson more playing time and is looking to develop Lawson as a potential star of the future.

He played for the under 18 national side:

Reggie Lawson was scouted to join the US under 18 national side. A testament to Lawson’s natural talent and work ethic.

He won the mid season All Star award in 2018:

In 2018 Reggie Lawson was chosen as the recipient of the mid season All Star award, during which time Lawson played for Lake Elsinore. On a temporary loan from the San Diego Padres.

Facts about Hudson Sanchez:

Hudson Sanchez was born in Texas:

Hudson Sanchez was born on the 28th of October, 1998.

He was drafted to the San Diego Padres in 2016:

Sanchez was drafted to the San Diego Padres during the first round draft in 2016. Prior to being drafted to the San Diego Padres, Sanchez played for his high school, Carroll High School. Which is located in South Lake, Texas.

Sanchez impressed during his debut performance:

During hid debut performance Sanchez launched an impressive 419 foot drive and as a result scored his first professional home run. One of the reasons why Sanchez is a player to watch is that he is 6″3 and packs plenty of power.

Sanchez was the youngest incoming senior:

When he was drafted into the San Diego Padres in 2016, Sanchez was the youngest incoming senior.
